| | This is the homepage for Dave Sackett at the Trout Research & Education Centre.
After "graduating" 102 Trout Fellows, the Trout Center's educational programme has moved south to Hamilton (Ont., not Berm.). We'll still keep the dorm at Irish Lake, but it would be a bit far (120 Km) to walk for meals and seminars.
The Trout Workshops are starting up again in Hamilton, but participation is mostly limited to fellows and new faculty from the centres that comprise the CANadian NEtwork and Centre for Trials INternationally (CANNECTIN), an international organization devoted to the design and execution of RCTs into the major cardiovascular diseases that affect low and middle income countries as well as Canada.
We do, however, award one place at each workshop in an open competition, so if you're interested in attending, please go to the Trout Workshop page,
The original purpose for this website was to post drafts of the 3rd edition of our clinical epidemiology text so that friends and other visitors could suggest how they might be improved. Thanks to the bunch of you who did so.
